Maningi Ndovela grew up in Bhomela about 10 km outside Port Shepstone. She matriculated at Merlewood Secondary School before going on to study Public Management at Esayidi TVET College and completing her N6 Certificate in 2013. She then took up part time work as a waitron but was always on the lookout for an opportunity to work in an office.

Maningi is now placed with Esayidi TVET College as PA to the Quality Assurance Director. She is enjoying her work very much. “This opportunity means a lot to me. I am gaining practical experience in my field of work and learning many new skills, especially how to handle a busy office envrironment yet stay calm!”.
