Link of Love Ladies Pamper Party

Imagine 35 women gathered in the Blomvlei Primary School Hall. With all 35 sharing two things in common:

1. They have worked on the Link of Love programme.
2. They are all unemployed.

The DreamWorker Link of Love team decided to honour these women for all their love, nurturing and endless giving with a special morning of pampering on 13 December.

the-pamper-day-beganIt all started off with Tania Bownes leading a Nia class. Music, movement and a total stress release for all. Then came the tea party and what a party it was! The volume button was way up!

Thereafter it was time for the ladies to receive some personal nurturing. Each one enjoyed a hand massage and hands that have given and given and given, were allowed to rest and be pampered.

We ended the morning with a gentle group meditation, a time to look with softness at the year behind us and with bright shining eyes towards the year to come. A time to honour each woman for the enormous role she plays in her community and in her family.

We left with very full tummies, a gift bag of treats ……and hearts overflowing.

A special thank you to the following people who helped us make this morning possible:
