working for the unemployed

Lighting her way

Khanyisile is super excited about finding work at last!

The name Khanyisile means to bring light.

Khanyisile Matta was born in Port Shepstone. She left high school at the end of Grade 11 before completing her level 4 at the Esayidi FET College.

After graduating with a Financial Management Certificate (N6) from the College, she was unemployed for several months. Then Khanyisile read an article about the DreamWorker Worklink centre and came to drop-off her CV.  Within a few weeks she was sent for an interview and was appointed into a permanent position as a Finance Officer.

Khanyisile now works for Reakona Hygiene but she has even bigger dreams….. “The dream I have for my work is to be the governor of the Reserve Bank one day. And I believe that with hard work and determination I can make this dream come true!”

Keep shining your light Khanyisile, keep shining!
