Lending A Helping Hand Has Its Own Rewards
When Paul Jumaad and Muneeb Johnson joined DreamWorker as volunteers post their Chrysalis Training programme in 2014, little did they realise what gifts lay hidden in their offering to help.
Meet Paul:
Paul is now on a full time 12 month learnership with the Red and Yellow School of Advertising and Marketing and loving every minute. “This is an awesome opportunity and an awesome agency. I am loving every aspect of the course, but mostly graphic design, which I hope to take further after I graduate. I have learned so much, become much more responsible in my own life and discovered my creativity, my passion for design and boosted my self esteem hugely. In fact, I can now even stand and present in front of large groups!”
Meet Muneeb:
Muneeb has joined DreamWorker fulltime. As a volunteer, he soon proved himself indispensable to the DreamTeam, helping with sourcing, administration and his personal favourite, all IT related issues. It was always his secret wish to stay on fulltime and that is exactly what he has manifested.
When Nicole Davids completed her training at Chrysalis she was initially placed as a volunteer in another organisation, but her first choice was always DreamWorker. She was therefore delighted to receive a call that a space was available for her.
