When 29 year old Patience arrived at DreamWorker Somerset West, she had been unemployed for 2 months and as the sole provider at home, she was desperate for work. Little did she know that it was indeed her lucky day. Sisonke Maintenance and Works in Gordon’s Bay was on the lookout for a bright, young, junior secretary and Patience fitted the bill perfectly.

“My employer really believes in me. I come to work very, very happy every day. The people here are always willing to assist me and to teach me things. I am studying Business Management at Boland College at the moment and my dream is to become a manager here one day.” Smiling, she adds “after all, I arrived here as a junior secretary and with all the help I have received, I am already a genius!!”
